Urban Ministries of Durham is a faith-based non-profit committed to offering support to those experiencing housing and food scarcity. UM’s community cafe offers three meals daily to anyone who wants to join them for a meal. UM also has a Food Pantry and Clothing Closet available to clients on a monthly basis.

The Inter-faith Food Shuttle provides free, fresh produce to families in the triangle. In Durham, the food shuttle can be found the 3rd Saturday of the month from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at Duke Memorial UMC at 504 W. Chapel Hill Street and the 1st Saturday at Iglesia Episcopal El Buen Pastor at 1852 Liberty Street. Call in advance for best arrival time to receive food number.
